Ugh. I'm sick, as in the flu/sinus infection sick. I had to go to work today because I needed to see my boss who was visiting and i hadn't seen him for months.
Now my skin and joints are burning and my limbs feel like lead. He told me to promise to get tested for lupus because of the redness in my face (I am pale and flushed from being unwell) I have always had redness across the nose and cheeks. I often get asked if it's a lupus rash... It doesn't behave like a rash so I've never thought much of it (had it since i was little) but now I guess I'm thinking it's a strong possibility it is, I'm going to have to push harder for some blood tests when I see doc next. Hopefully that blooming sleep study will have come back by then!!

I completely understand how u r feeling FP πŸ€—... u know ur body better than anyone else... so keep informed, research...☺ and push for what u want with ur doctor πŸ€”

Make it one of ur 3 topics of discussion...πŸͺ doctors tend to take ur top 3 thingsπŸͺ and deal with those per visit... remember it is hard for them to make a judgement call... in one 10 or 20 minute appointment πŸ˜‰.. so try not to to overload ur visit.

πŸ€— Take notes and look professional... like u 🐴mean business... 😚and are confident in ur knowledge of ur situation and things should be fine... i often use my fone to record the consultants appointments... to go over later. U will be ok in the end hunni 😚

Thanks for the advice Lulabel, you are right she does only talk to me about 2-3 things per visit I will make it priority number one next visit - I want blood tests!
