Just dropping in to say I've not forgotten you all πŸ˜‰

I'm not able to get online and answer each post but I am reading when I can. I see many newbies so welcome to you all! I hope you are finding the help and support you need. This site has been a blessing of support and immense information to help me.

Just a quick update on my family issues: Dad is being dismissed by PTOT because he's got a plateau in therapy. But his knee is bent because the muscles, tendons & ligaments are so tight because he's favoring it and won't push it to straighten. We told him he's going to memory care and we're waiting for a bed to open. But if he has another outburst of anger he'll be sent to a Senior psych center to evaluate his meds. I am sitting with him most of the time. Stepmom isn't functioning well so she has to be seen by multiple doctors, and guess who gets to schedule and escort her? Me. And I've had to take on helping do their bills. Other family drama isn't even worth mentioning.

My shoulder, hip and back is ok from my fall earlier this month. Except my knee is worse and I'm getting an MRI tomorrow. The doc said I may need scoping at the least. Yay! And I'm being sent for a bone density test next week. Then I'll be scheduling surgery for my lowest neck and highest thoracic discs. Ugh! 😣

He said my neck is REALLY longer than most people, 😐which is why Im having the issues I do in my neck. πŸ™

My grandmother shouldn't have told us to stand straight & tall. πŸ€”This is what I get for walking with a book on my head. That's what we were suppose to do for perfect posture. Instead it reeeeeeeally messed it up instead. 😯

So, slouch baby slouch!! πŸ˜„ slouch πŸ˜‚ slouchπŸ˜‰

Hugs love & prayers you all have a good weekend! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΌ

I remember my dad always getting after me for not standing up straight. That was before I knew I had scoliosis. A chiropractor once told me the X-rays of my neck were strange. I had no c-curve to my neck. He said it looked like a stick with a bowling ball on the end. I think it hurts to stand up straight now even though if I remember, I try to. Charm school. Hahahahah! I like that.
