Does anyone suffer from nipple pain? My doc a few yrs ago sent me for a mamagram and nothing ab- normal

I do, and Progesterone cream seemed to help, but a lot of things could affect nipple pain. Does it happen with your period? Do you eat plenty of iodine? Have your doctors ruled out hypo/hyperthyroidism?

I don't suffer from nipple pain just breast tenderness especially prior to my period. I am sorry you are suffering. I wish doctors would treat your symptoms based on how you feel and not based on a test that came back normal. I hope you can find some help For your pain momdukes78 ✌️❤️

Momdukes78, first I would like to say, welcome!! You have come to the right place. We are all here for different diagnosis but all have one commonality and that is pain!! To answer your question, yes, I have pain in my nipples. It recently started and is accompanied by bothersome itching!! Had them checked and all is well but no relief for the problem. It's very strange. There is another thread talking about this and I couldn't believe it shows up the very day I was going to post and ask about this very thing. I know it sucks, hang in there. Make sure you check regularly with your doctor and be safe. Hope you have a great day and feel better.🙏🏻🌻

I have very sore boobs and nippers, usually before period but for about 6 weeks it's been constant? Not mentioned to doctor yet as I have a list so long to go through tomorrow especially my knees!! I feel adding to much may divert him from my most painful area. 😙😙

I would let the doctor know after he had sufficiently taken care of the issues of your knees. I know it can sway the focus of the doctor is not paying close attention or is just a jerk. It is frustrating because I have been dealing with it as well. I've never seen such a large number of ladies with itchy boobs! I hope that maybe it's just some strange thing that will go away for ALL of us. Hope your doctor visit goes well. Good luck!!🌻🙏🏻

I had itch boobs found out it was from letting my shampoo run down the body. The most have a Sulphur compound in them , which causes itching. Now I do slighty better by using the new ones that don't have the old ingredients in them, my first bottle was a script , but couldnt afford itv. Now i use a popular brand and make sure it doesn't go down the body in the shower. Much better than scratching in public. Lol

Yes mine are sire but get worse just before my friends period (mad I know). I don't have periods as I have Depo injections every 12 weeks. I also have hypothyroidism so didn't know that could effect them. I also had a lung removed 10 years ago so put some pain down to damaged nerves. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

MoM, yes I used to have nipple pain occasionally but that was before they put me on the daily progesterone dose. Not that's it done much for me, but fingers crossed, no periods equals no pain.

I'm sorry that Drs don't seem to hear us when we speck to them some times we need to get loud and in tears befor then take note to what we tell them I've seen ppl bring family in to room before the dr would get scared and hear what was said ( my best is just let them hear my uncle talk then ask why and then start yelling at them and then they say that they spent years in dr school I replayed that as a rR n. I spent almost as many years in school and train under better Drs than u now it sounds to me there not seeking drugs there crying for help and you took a oth to help the ppl in need of help not call them out. Sorry for the rant.

When I cry they refer me to see phyic, really it happened= I had a mamagram it was good, I guess I will just deal like with other pain:(

Momdukes, I was also referred to a psych doc last year for crying from frustration and pain. I was furiously mad at him! But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The psych doc changed meds and did a saliva test on my metabolism on meds. Turns out I have 2 genetic defects: I don't absorb and metabolize B Vitamins, especially folate (B9); I don't metabolize benzodiazepines. It resulted in me getting on the right meds for depression and anxiety. (((Hugs))) because I know how frustrating it can be! 🙏🌼

I think the thing that we need to keep in mind is that most doctors only treat your symptoms. They forget that there is an entire human being with feelings, fears and other needs. This doctor seems to be looking at you as a whole person and wanted to help you emotionally help you. There is such a stigma in the world about mental illness issues. Going to a therapist, psychologist or psychologist does NOT mean you are crazy!!! It simply means there is an illness like any other and help is out there. Anxiety is frustrating at best and can really overrun your life. Hang in there. We're all here and I'm sending you {{{{Hugs}}}} and prayers that you get some relief. 🙏🏻🌻
