Just trying to live

May 05, 2019 8:16 AM

I have been suffering from awful chronic pain for three years now, and it doesn’t seem a lot but considering that fact that I’m only 16, it has limited my ”normal teenage life” a lot. I’ve had two surgeries for my ankle but they didn’t help. No doctor has given me a proper diagnose and it makes me really frustrated. I’ve suffered from this pain for so long that no one takes me searious anymore. I have no diagnosis, no medication and no support. This has also affected ny mental health and for the past 6 months I’ve been having really bad panick attacks and I think I might also be depressed. Any advice?

Hi watermellongirl! Welcome to the community. I'm sorry you have so much pain. What kind of pain are you having? Is it all over pain? In your joints? In your muscles? What would you give it on a scale 1-10? Do you have fatigue with it? Try soaking in very warm tub with 1-2 cups Epsom salts. Heating pad or maybe ice pack. Try looking back at older topics. Hope this helps

Welcome to the community Watermelongirll! I'm sorry you're having chronic pain at such a young age, and that the doctors don't seem to have answers for you. What type for surgery did you have; what was wrong? I've heard some say they have had worse pain following surgeries. There are many young people in the community, and some who have CRPS, chronic regional pain syndrome. I don't have it so I can't answer questions, but if I'm remembering correctly it can come on after surgery, so check it out. I do have fibromyalgia, along with many other chronic pain issues, as does most everyone in the community. So you have lots of support here. Just ask and someone is sure to be able to answer or give you info to check into. Anxiety and depression have become a normal part of my life with the chronic pain issues. I take medication for both as well as have counseling. It's helpful. Sending you hugs love and prayers that you will find a doctor who will be able to help you get answers and find ways to help you cope with the pain! 🙂❤🙏🌼

Some advice is to start eating clean, ie, cut out gluten, white sugars, corn products and processed foods. From your pic of cover pain areas, you are probably inflammation. That word is not retaining fluid but your body's system is on fire. Gluten, processed foods, and non-organic including GMO foods will slowly attack your body, also advoid any immune shots until things level out, they have mercury in them that your body will store. A good book and easy to read, (I have 4 books and hate the others) is Wahls Protocol.
