Kratom for pain

Aug 09, 2016 6:35 PM

My sister swears by this for her pain and anxiety. She is in agony on the days she doesnt have it. You can buy it legally in US except for a few states. I read a bunch of info on the internet. I have tried it and it took off the edge of my pain. Am looking into getting some of my own. The literature on the net looks encouraging. Look up "kratom for chronic pain" and look at more than one site. Get a good understanding of it before you make a judgement.

I read thru the info... seems too good to be true! It made me want to buy some...BUT i have never heard of it before, so im skeptical. I also was confused as to what strain to begin with... or combo of strains??? It bothers me that this miracle leaf... is so unknown to pain patients... making me wonder if it is really as good as they say it is? If i had money to burn i would try it... but is that because im in constant pain? I still want some lmao!

It was recommended to me by someone in a smoke shop and was even given a sample package. I did try it and it did relief pain and also gave me focus and energy. However I also did research and from what I understand it's you need a low, medium and high strain IF you plan on using it daily , cause it may become addictive. For me it gave me a headache once it wore off and then I slept a lot. So if I decide to use it it will only be on days that I HAVE TO FUNCTION 100%.

Would you guys happen to know if this was legal in Canada?? I also read the article and agree that it sounds a little too good to be true...I am not sure if it's only me or others as well, I get hesitant about trying new things because I don't want the pain to get out so out of control that I suffer for days later.

I've heard of it but unsure if I'd try the unknown. The pain makes me curious though.

I bought some after a friend told me about it. Only use on really bad days. Ordered online, was scared to take the first dose, but it worked!!

@Kcoa11, the pain is what lead me to try it. I just made sure it was with my husbands approval and on his day off just in case I would get sick. I will only take it on for events that are a must to attend.
