I commented on another post but I highly recommend anyone with chronic pain to look into kratom. I take it for fibromyalgia. Don't listen to media that has demonized it, as the pharmaceutical companies don't like alternative treatments. So many people haven't heard of it but it's gaining popularity. It has helped many many people get their life back.

it works but makes me sick most the time. I hope the fda doesn't shut down import of Kratom completely as it is very effective but I have seen people abuse it too. There are pros and cons but it is atleast safe. There are a few herbs that are great pain killers other than Kratom too.

What’s Kratom?

It's a tree leaf from Indonesia. It's ground up into fine powder and taken in capsules or what most people do is just take it with a drink of coffee or something. Works similar to pain meds but without dangerous side effects.

Works great for me. If you are in a state where it is legal to own a Kratom tree I suggest you buy one while you can. Mine cost $92.00 but it will pay me back in approximately 2 years when I can harvest, dry, grind and ingest my own Kratom. They are not difficult to grow. I am lucky that I can grow mine outside because of my climate. Give Kratom a try if you are interested, any of the red varieties work well for chronic pain patients. 🌻

What strain of tree did you get? I've been planning on buying one or two for a while.

I purchased a MALAY species. Would you like me to pm you where I purchased it from? It is a red variety. So far with the Texas Gulf Coast (high humidity and raining for the past week) weather it has put on about 2 to 3 inches and 4 new leaves in just over a week. They thrive in higher humidity.

Thank you! That's a good strain. Usually lasts a little longer than other ones for me 🙂
