Okay so talked to the surgery center staff this afternoon. Looks like all is a go for Thursday. But I must say that MRSA is not my friend. Don't have any open areas, but will still be close to the last one on the OR schedule. Elected to do shots without sedation after all. So can eat a light breakfast that morning, normal meds as well. I will be on contact precautions as per normal(I'm so used to that after all). Just ready to get it over with now. And will be able to go home without needing a driver that day. Kind of grateful for the coffee that morning as well. Just really hate having to go through a hell of a lot of awefulness this year. But there is one thing that I have found to be true if only for me. Going through this has forced me to grow up in a big way, and it's also strength and character building. I figured that if I can get the back of my leg sliced open in October without sedation, then I can certainly do this.
