Lead Legs

Feb 15, 2015 10:23 PM

So for the past two weeks every single day my legs have gone completely limp. It's extremely hard to move them and it's getting harder each day. They feel numb, almost like they're asleep. It happens randomly, it doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing. Then I get extremely painful migraines and I can't walk. It happens to my arms too but not as much. I have to start moving by wiggling my toes, and that's the hardest part, then my feet and then my legs. Every time it happens I just try to keep moving and it seems to help but it gets worse every day. The migraines are crippling and my vision starts getting blurry and I see auras. The migraines have almost no warning. They just come on, and when they do it feels like someone shoved a knife through my skull. I'm just wondering if anyone has had an experience like what I'm going through. I'm seeing a neurologist in April but I'm getting worried.

I agree with Aliya, those are troublesome symptoms and I think you should make an appt tomorrow for the first available spot.

I agree with Aliya & sandibeach, the sooner the better. Something doesn't sound right neurologically. I've never heard of migraine auras like that.

When you call to get in sooner, tell then what you just told us and emphasize that it is getting worse Rapidly. If they tell you there is nothing sooner ask them to talk to the doctor about your symptoms and get back to you. Chances are that if they talk to the doctor you will get in quickly. Most doctors will MAKE TIME for a patient who needs to be seen.
