I have been receiving a lot of PT, & OT for approximately 8 weeks now. When discussing the muscle spasms I get in the evening she said it was common for people who are diabetic (1-2) to get these. She said many of her patients use essential oil Lemon Grass “diluted” in water in a spray bottle. She said they just spray it on and rub it in. She said the best relief although painful as we all know is to; stand up and move/ walk. She said it stretches the muscles and should stop it. I tried it with a calf spasm I had. Yes was painful but once I stood up I could feel it easing. Didn’t know about the Lemon Grass until next day. Any other suggestions anyone has on this topic are welcome. I also like heat ( relaxes muscles) Come on give us your best remedies! Love 😘🤗to all .
Hi pain warrior I yes as per cream that really helps me out a lot abduce them and heating them up also... Or a good messasge also helps a long way also . I hope this helps to hug have a nice day . I also use Tylenol every 6 or 5 hours or so . Hug gently Shore 🙏🙏❤️❤️🌈🌹🤗
Thanks Weddingshore. I’ve used asper cream years ago and it helped. Not so much now. I love a good massage one where they don’t cause me more pain. The best one I ever had was in California. Last year while visiting my oldest son treated me with a Swedish massage not a deep massage but a more gentle type. I could of laid there forever. So yes massage for sure. Love and best wishes😘🤗🌺🦋
Wow, wish I had known this last week! I'll be looking for some lemon grass oil, as well as a cbd one someone else told me about. Thanks for sharing this! I use to use aspercream but the doc's changed it to voltaren gel. Then due to easy bruising they changed that to lidocaine ointment; I can say it really doesn't help. I just can't use it around my dog, who lays up against my legs, because he's allergic to lemon grass. I love a good massage too but it's been years since I've had one.
I’ve mentioned before I also use “Theraworx” can buy it OTC at Walmart. Haven’t tried the Lemon Grass oil yet but will sometime soon. I also have Lidocaine ointment but doesn’t help the spasms for me. If you use the oil before I comment on using it, let me know. My PT said many of her patients swear by it. Love and best wishes.🌸💕💗🦋
