Let's talk about teeth!

Basically my whole mouth is in horrible shape. A combination of genetics, severe stomach issues and fibro have rotted my teeth. So now I await disability and can't pay for dentures.

Please tell me something good is going to come of this hellish wait! 14 months so far.

Please tell me your experiences!

Aaaaaaaaa. Well my teeth are bad. I haven't been to the dentist in 7 years. I know there bad so why go if I don't have the money. My PCP Rx's my mouthwash and toothpaste the dentist way back when put me on because of my fibro.

My experience with disability is I reasearched it for almost a year online. Then subitted it myself and was approved for permanent disability and first check within 3 months.

Of disability in the US pays for dental or dentures I did not know that. Maybe I should go then... But don't want to have more pain with all the teeth pulls and stuff.

Praying you get approved quickly.

I feel your pain. My whole mouth is a train wreck. My gums are bad on mother's, teeth on dad's. I need AT least 7 pulled or cut out. They're so rotted. I got a severe tooth infection while pregnant and pregnancy gingivitis. The infection spread to like 6 of my teeth and they're practicality gone. :( good luck.

My teeth are bad. I don't have the money to pull them. Disability doesn't pay for dental.

I'm lucky. I've lost half of my teeth before I came for disability. And got denture. It's interesting does disability program cover basic dental in Canada?

No disability doesn't pay for dental but at least I can start saving a little toward it. I hope.

I'm 23 and don't have the best of teeth, mostly genetics and bad habits when I was younger. I had to have an emergency filling done a couple weeks ago and $400 later....
I'd look into what resources are available in your area. I know there is the Care Credit Card that I've used, and also affordabledentures.com is where we will probably be getting my mom new dentures
