Mindfulness, biofeedback, good music, this community, a positive attitude and when I have a hideous day, I listen to my body and I just rest and distract myself with something light that I don't have to think about.
Acceptance that I'm in pain and can't run around like a crazy person, doing everything. Reading a good book, gaming with my husband. Hanging out with my children and grandchildren when I can. Accepting that it's okay to nap instead of doing housework. Loving the new me And learning new ways to do things.
Mine is my music and my children(pets too) and photography , and I have to make my kids lunches so I went to Walmart and bought a cheap shoe organizer and hung it up in my pantry and put my kids chips, fruit snacks and drink in each space and all I have to do is make their sandwiches!
Whenever I cook something in the crock pot or pressure cooker I always put the leftovers in mason jars in the freezer. Then on a high pain day supper is done! I have pulled pork, spaghetti sauce, tortilla soup, beef soup, chicken soup, fried rice, homemade chicken and beef stock, ect. While I mostly eat raw and veggies, I am not the only one that eats here. I also package almost everything in the freezer in smaller vacume packages. This makes life easier for me. Also if you use alot of fresh herbs you can throw basil in the food processor with oil and freeze in ice cube trays. Works with most herbs.
