I am hurting so bad level 10, but I call one Dr and they say call the other, and it goes back and forth. I have had fibromyalgia for 15years and I have been heavy for 35years, I will be 49 next week and don't think I can live with this pain for the rest of my life, but can't get anyone to listen to be, I know it's a different pain, then fibromyalgia and weight:-(
Elizabeth1966, I'm sorry no one is listening. Why don't you find a new doctor, a rheumatologist or new primary care doctor, and get a full exam. If the others aren't listening then it's time to fire them and get a new one.
Before I received my official dx or prescription meds, I was taking Tylenol around the clock, running Aspercreme or other OTC ointments in my legs, arms, & backs. It was hard to get through it, but I took one day at a time... and I still do. Try warm showers or Epsom salt bath soaks. Others will have suggestions in sure. Don't give up. Research and find out everything you can. Keep a daily journal of your symptoms, what sets off pain, and what helps even if it's just a small amount. You're in my thoughts and prayers! 🙏🌼
Elizabeth 1966 I hope and pray that I don't offend you because that isn't what I'm trying to do. Have you talked to your Dr about weight loss surgery. The reason I ask is because I am 59 yrs old, but when I was 57 I had Gastric Vertical Sleeve Surgery. It was the best thing in the world I have ever done for myself. I wish I had done it 30 yrs ago. When I went for my consolation with the surgeon. I was at my highest wt of 265 lbs, I am 5 feet so you can imagine what I looked like ,how I felt which was terrible. He told me if I didn't have the surgery I had about 7 yrs to live. I had the surgery on July 20,13 but before that I was on a clear liquid diet for almost 2 months I lost down to 242 day of surgery. I was < sick until I tried to eat ground meat, pork it was because of to much grease. As of last month I have lost down to 177 lbs. I feel so much better than I have in years, I eat anything I want I have trouble remembering to eat because they took the grenlin out that's what tells you your hungry, I have trouble to drink every 10 min. My pain has gotten a little better than it was 2 years ago. I'm not saying that it will be a cure but it has helped my diabetes my A1C came down from a 8 before surgery to a 5.1 now. OK now if the pain is different than ever before try and see if you can see your pain Dr. and if no one wants to see you go to the ER maybe they could figure it out. I know how it feels to be told to if you just lost that weight it would help your back. To an extent it does a little bit not much.will be praying for you and sending hugs your way
