Losing support

May 16, 2017 10:05 AM

So this super close friend told me a couple of days ago that she doesn't hang out with me anymore because of my lack of energy (being sick) and lack of money ( because I can't work because of sickness). For me, that is the end of our friendship, because there is no way I can ever accept it and respect her. Do any of you have any advise of how to deal with losing people around you?

Aww hun I'm sorry. Can relate it's happened to me, too. Unfortunately, its emotionally painful for us. Just know that so called friend of yours is obviously not a good friend. This is a blessing inn disguise... you don't need ignorant, selfish, hurtful people in your life.
Please don't let it make you bitter. You'll find the right friends now who will always be there for you.
You always have us as supportive friends!

Omg it totally hurts. Kept me up at night over thinking everything. I recommend at this time of 'grieving' you try keeping your mind active. I'm sorry, again.
We are here for you mkaaaaay 😸

People show their true colors in stressful times. I am sorry that you lost a 'friend' but in time you will realize she was not a true friend. A true friend will love you no matter what. It is sad and very hard when you have a chronic illness the people we thought were friends drop like flies. Just know we are all here for you and we may not be your old friends but we can be your new ones!

You are better of without that person. That person wasn't a true friend. My advice is to stick with those in your life that does care such as family.
