Lost my Lyrica 😰😵😨

Nov 19, 2015 8:09 PM

I've only been taking Lyrica a total of 7 days. I couldn't find it last night or today so I'm starting to freak out a bit. I woke up today with really achy and burning hands and a lot of muscle fatigue and soreness but weirdly had a really good sleep. I'm not sure what I should be expecting if I can't find it.
Every time I think I'm catching up a little bit I do something stupid like that 😕😡

I hope you find it. I have some here that I can't take, wish I could give it to you! It made me gain weight. I'm already 100 pounds over weight from not eating enough, I shure didn't need more. LOL Good luck

When was the last time you took it? Try to retrace your steps after taking it, if you cam remember where you were when you took it. I used to misplace my stuff and had to get a small bag to keep them all in.

I would just call your Dr or pharmacy. Tell them you went out of town and u lost ypoir medicine. Ask if you can get a refill of the pills you would have left. I've done that when ibe traveled and left or lost medicine and I had no problem getting more. I hope this helps and u get your medicine. Either by finding them or getting a refill

I hate losing stuff, do it all the time. I'm constantly telling my daughter where I put stuff so when I can't find it later at least someone knows

Lol I do the same thing @ lann4963, lol my daughter has a great memory unlike me. Lol and telling my husband where something is in case I forget is like talking to a brick wall bless his heart.

@ Birdiebabe, I would retrace my steps, look in places you wouldn't expect like the trash can or refrigerator, laundry basket lol seriously I have left things in some crazy places before. But try looking and retrace your steps, if that doesn't work then call your Dr. And be honest with them about what happened and see if they will give you meds for the rest of the time left on your month. Since its not a narcotic, they might do it. Good luck and I pray that you will find the medicine or that the Dr. Will give you more. Take care.

Thank you everyone :) haven't found then yet but at this point I'm just sort of hoping they show up. Will be talking to the pharmacy again though

Once you find them or get a REFILL, either get some type of bag or box to keep it in and keep it in one place. I have a pink sparkly box I keep my meds in. It's so bright, it can't be lost.

I try to keep my morning meds in one spot, my evening meds in another, and my bedtime meds in a third.
I don't know how many times a day you need to take Lyrica - I've just been diagnosed with FM and will soon start; but they want my PCP to first determine which of my scripts are medically necessary and which are treating my FM symptoms....
Meanwhile, I have a bad habit of losing things when I don't set them down in their usual place, so try to rely on an old study habit I learned in school - say it out loud. Saying, "I'm putting my Lyrica on the entertainment center," really helps me later. Not only do I hear it; but it's usually easier to remember something that I said myself! ;)

I've had to call my doctor in these instances since lyrics is a controlled medication. You'll probably need to have a Dr prescribe whatever you need to hold you over until your next refill. :(
