I’ve had low back pain since I was 18, I’m 48 now. I have psoriatic arthritis as well as rheumatoid. I have taken just about every med for treatment. I recently started medical marijuana and it’s great but doesn’t completely relieve my pain. Opioids don’t take away the pain, only make it less painful. I am on Remicade infusions every 6 weeks. I feel pretty great some days. However, the severe, constant back pain never leaves. I had an MRI done last week and am waiting for results. The spine doc mentioned destroying the nerves causing the pain. Has anyone had a like procedure? I can only dream of no back pain but if there is a chance, I’m ready.
Those nerves grow back and people I know have mixed results, some are way worse than before the zapping. Get a copy of your MRI and also read that report your self. Doctor's only tell you bits of what is on them. Most general doctor's don't know how to read a MRI, lol. Just this last 3 years I have had over 10 admit they could care less about learning to read them.
I have cervicogenic headaches up my neck and over the scalp to my forehead, which have been occurring daily for 6 months and worsening. It's coming from C2 facets pinching nerves. My Ortho-neuro specialist says nerve ablation will help but I have to wait until my C7-T1 fusion is fully healed from last year's surgery. He gave me 2 trigger point injections 2 weeks ago at the base of my skull and I've had zero headaches since the 3rd day post injection! I'm actually hoping I can forego the ablations. 🙂🙏❤🌼
