low-dose naltrexone?

Sep 08, 2015 5:18 PM

Has anyone else heard of this as a possible treatment for autoimmune disorders? I read a testimonial on FB, which led me to looking it up. It's considered an off-label use. If anyone's tried it or knows more info about it, I'd really love to hear! I hate to get my hopes up that anything could ever fully cure me, but I have at least 3 incurable, untreatable autoimmune diseases. At this point, I'd be willing to try almost anything (As long as it isn't expensive, which this claims to not be).

I tried this and it helped in the beginning. But then started taking away the effect of my pain medicine. I would definitely try it if you have the opportunity.

It helps a lot, but does reduce tolerance and sometimes affects of painkillers. It can help if you take a dose 12 hours apart from opioids.
My dad and I both take it, I'd say go for it!

I really appreciate you replying. I'll let you know how it works out when I get to the drs next. This really does give me a lot of hope!
