The acupuncture takes a few sessions to be affective for most. But you do need to tell the Acupunchurist if you feel pain @ Needle site or else where. "Correct placement" is imperative for therapy to be effective. I usually felt a "opening of sinuses". I also tend to meditate during my treatment. "Mindfulness meditation" has also been proven for effective relief. I try everything I can that won't cause further pain to rid myself of pain and increase my quality of life.
