Lumbar scoliosis

Jun 10, 2016 10:16 PM

Yes, it is. I hear you. Everything and everyone just disappears from my reality when pain is so terrible. Do you have management tools you use such as PT therapy, medication, etc? Is it constant or does it change when you have moved just wrong? I have Scoliosis & sciatica with OA and DDD. Days and days of Hideous pain. If you need to say more we are here to listen. May you find the strength to bear it.💗

I have thoracic scoliosis and my entire T-spine is fused down into Mt lumbar dpine. I understand the psin. Have you tried hanging on an inversion table? If you do not have one go to the park and hang upside down on the monkey bars by your knees. This seems to relax my hips and makes a world of difference for me. If you end up with good results I suggest the Teeter brand inversion table without the boots and not the round style foot holder, they hurt. The one that has soft cup shaped ankle holder seems to be most comfortable to me. I have had both. Also I have a select comfort bed so I can adjust how firm I want the bed. They can be very inexpensive, yes I said inexpensive. Look on ebay. I purchased mine as a group ofreplacement parts and it is pretty easy to put together. Basically a $5,000.00 bed for $400.00 Saved more than 90% PM me if you need more info.

Stupid auto correct and lack of attention on my part. 'Fused down to my lumbar spine'. Sorry, someday we will be able to edit our posts....maybe.

I'm on all sorts of medication and nothing seems to touch the pain! They even had me on morphine and I didn't feel like it made any difference. I'm tired all the time because I can't sleep because of the pain. I'm on anti depressants as well. It's made my life miserable. Thank you to Everyone who replied. I wasn't expecting anyone too❤️
