Hello everyone. So I have a question. I was prescribed Lyrica for my fibromyalgia but unfortunately I was prescribed Lyrica for my fibromyalgia but unfortunately the insurance does not cover it. However it does cover Sevella. I was given a two week trial package of the Lyrica on Friday. So far I am very pleased with the way it's working for me. But I am not going to be able to afford the prescription afterwards because it's $700. I even tried using the Lyrica discount coupon and it only save me about $300. That is a great savings but I still can't afford what's left over. So I mentioned all of that to ask if anyone has tried Savella and if it's any good?
Thank you for your support littlelola and Westerngirl. Yes both of those prices are ridiculous. I hope my doctor will work with me and switch. It's just too bad because Lyrica has been working so well for me. I didn't even have to take a Norco today
I take Savella with good success. It made me nauseated and dizzy for a few weeks when I started taking it. I've since tried to stop taking it because of the price (high deductible plan means we pay for everything out of pocket). When I stopped, my pain came back with a vengeance! I guess that's proof it's working for me.
That being said, I tried Lyrica before Savella and it didn't help me at all. Unfortunately, there just isn't one-size-fits-all treatment plan for fibro.
