Marijuana vaping?

Sep 11, 2018 8:28 AM

Good morning!
I just joined this app this morning. All because I woke up with a joint being attacked since I got taken off Xeljanz a week and a half ago 😒.
When I found out I was being taken off for high liver numbers I decided to try vaping. I was using cbd and thc juice in vape pens but I don’t find it does enough...so I’m going to be using a vape with dry herbs. I ordered two hybrid versions.

Is anyone else using this and if so how has it helped you?? Or has it helped at all?

I'm interested in this also, since the UK government has relaxed it's stance on medical marijuana.

Welcome to the group!

I just started one week ago and I feel like sativa helps me through the day and Indica really helps for night time. The two strains are usually used at mentioned day and night! How to remember indica? “In da couch”! Also my migraines stopped since I started.

Thanks for replying! Bought a Pax3 today. I don’t know why I’m not overly excited to get into pot.

I find marijuana doesn’t get rid of the pain, but it stops me caring! I happen to be smoking anstrain that’s 20% cbd!!!!!! Had less muscle ache but still migraines and random body bruise/sharp pains. Not moving muscles as much, though, either.

It definitely takes my mind off pain. Instead of being focused on the pain I really can just chill. I am still in moderate pain but do not really care. Most of the vape cartridges were pretty harsh on my throat so I switched to making tincture. Works amazing for my insomnia.

I need to get me some if it helps that much. Does anyone find it helps them sleep?

Yes absolutely but you need to be sure it has cbd in it. The cbd promtoes the Gama waves in your brain.

I started using CBD oil 1500mg under the tongue for 60 secs, 4 drops three times a day for severe nerve pain from Ehlers Danlos & CRPS. I'm keeping a pain diary and so far its definitely been lowering my nerve quite significantly.

I'm taking about 60mg/day and occasionally vaping 500mg 6 puffs at a time if the pain is really bad. I started on 20mg and slowly every 7 days increased the dosage until I started getting results, it has also made my morphine more potent so need to be very careful if take opiates. I have severe lain and take high doses of morphine but 60mg providing I don't take the last dose later than 18:00 is fine.

I currently on a daily morphine dosage of 600mg zomorph slow release every 12 hours with another upto 20pmg sevredol for breakthrough pain (1200-1400mg/day) I came down off merhadone and fentanyl to lowest morphine dosage that I can maintaon my mobility but with a higher pain hit so I have a better quality of life. I've been out of a wheelchair for 8 years now afyer spending over a decade in one.

Wood lime to know others experiences.

Oh it does nothing for my bone pain except accidently through making the morphine more potent. So if you don't have nerve pain it won't be as good for you. David :)

It's illegal in GA, but even if it weren't I wouldn't be able to vape because of my asthma. My son in law Vapes, as does my sister, and if there standing too close to me I get asthma attacks. But cleaning products and perfumes do the same. Bummer! 😥

Hi 👋 FlappysLady81

You might have tried it already and I’m not sure how accessible it is where you are; however, Kratom has helped me a lot with pain management. I’m in CA and the sell it in smoke shops here but I have also found it online. There is a documentary on Netflix about Kratom, called “A Leaf of Faith”. Good luck, I’m sending hugs your way and warm thoughts.

I'll have to look into that. I've never heard of it from anyone here, so it may not be legal. Thanks!
