I am 30 years old. I have scoliosis, fibromyalgia, and a vitemen D defeancy. Sorry if my spelling is wrong. I have a service dog named Buddy, which lets me know when I'm about to pass out and he keeps anxiety down.
I am sorry to read about your issues at a young age, I'm thankful I got almost 50 years in before I became disabled from the pain. I have to blame myself for my situation though, I abused my body at a young age doing extreme sports and thinking that I was invincible. I would injure myself and get better and thought that was the end of it all, when in fact the damages were compiling and when I hit my 40's I started to pay the price. Now that I'm in my 50's, it has become obvious that I won't make 70 and quality of life until my death will be poor.
Who ever coined the phrase, its better to burn out than fade away, was wrong. Burning the candle at both ends only has one result.
Ibravo, I pass out due to the pain, my head and spine hurt so bad, that my body just gives out. It sucks. Buddy is a pit/ lab mix. He is my baby and life saver. CACampell, some of mine was because of what I did when I was younger. But the doc says not to blame myself. Some of it just happens. Sorry you Know you may not make it to 70. I didn't think I was going to make it to 30 due to kidney and liver failure, but I got lucky, hope the same for you.
Hi bulldog. Just a FYI vitamin d deficiencies can be easily fixed. I take 10,000 IU vitamin d daily. My levels are perfect. Plenty of places to purchase. Let me know if you need a name of a store to buy online.
Thanks Blessed. But I have been on pills for 2 months now and it keeps going lower. Because of my auto immune disease, it eats the Vitamin D. Doc said they may do IM infusions. We will see. But thank you.
I too suffer with vitamin d deficiency ..... I must sit in the sun 15 minutes a hour on good days and bad. I am lucky to have a patio with easy access. I usually do it 4-5 times a day. O keep you hat on and sunblock.this form is better than taking a pill for me.
