Best wishes Aliya!! Isn't kinda weird how we hope for tests to find things wrong with us, just so we can have a diagnosis? Sweet dreams! Good mornings! Gentle hugs! And pain free (as much as possible) days!
Good Luck, Aliya. I hope that they find something that can be repaired, treated or most importantly cured. Either way, I hope that your outcome is a good one and that you dont have to suffer like you said for days afterwards. I will be praying for you. I'll Be right there with you in spirit and helping you to relax. Keep us all posted on how things are going.
Brain MRI was soooooo much easier than the cervical and lumbar MRIs. So fast. Plus more comfortable because I had both earplugs and over ear headphones and asked for an extra pillow under my legs. Really glad I don't have to wait long for results. I see the neurologist tomorrow.
I didn't realize how disappointed I would be to be told I don't have MS. Or any other neurological conditions. I spent the entire day for two doctor apointments and feel like they were a complete waste of time. The only thing to come from them is that I should go see a rheumatologist.
Aliya, I'm so sorry. I know "not knowing" is the worst. Having a name for "it" is vital to each of us. Maybe you could get a second opinion. The reason I say that is because my neurologist told me that even if my (upcoming) lumbar puncture comes back negative, its not 100% proof against MS, because sometimes it takes years to develop enough symptoms to show positive on tests. He mentioned sending me to a MS specialist north of us, just because (he said) I have many MS symptoms. A second opinion can't hurt. As for the headaches,my pain specialist helped most with them.
A friend with ms did tell me to get an ms specialist. And the neurosurgeon's PA told me it does really sound like MS and that sometimes it doesn't show in an MRI. and she told me to expect a long road.
