Here is the definition I found:

Medullary Sponge Kidney (also known as Cacchi–Ricci disease) is a congenital disorder of the kidneys characterized by cystic dilatation of the collecting tubules in one or both kidneys. Individuals with medullary sponge kidney are at increased risk for kidney stones and urinary tract infection.

Moose - I love your name btw - I don't have this but I am prone to kidney infections, UTIs and have 3 small kidney stones Too small to break up and too stubborn to pass.

Not a lot of people have it and not found many who go through it like me! With msk your considered by doctors a stone making farm. And constantly in and out of pain. Like now:( at work and hurting.

I don't but my sis was dx with dry kidney, which can lead to kidney failure. She has to go through diet changes to try and control it.
