Multiple conditions and fibromyalgia?

Mar 16, 2017 12:36 AM

I have multiple conditions as in I have Systemic Mastocytosis and I have a Glioneuronal brain tumour, I suffer with IBS, PTSD, I have started to have mega issues with pain in every muscle and joint. My lower back/ lower lumbar omg if I'm on my feet more than 10 minutes I'm in agony and I'm in bed for the next few days recovering. My husband approached my GP/ Family Doctor that I fight all the classic symptoms of fibromyalgia and I have done for years! But because of my brain tumour my SM is currently not being treated and the symptoms are very similar apparently I'm already taking 125mg of amitryline a day aswell as naproxen and slow release morphine yet I'm still hurting and my poor fingers are so sore when I try to bend them they just always seem to hurt.

Does anyone else have multiple conditions and what or how do you treat it I live in England so the cannabis options out lol

I fave fibro, Hashimotos, PAD,tachycardia, severe allergic asthma, and reactive arthritis .. I'm sure I'm missing one or two more things! This past year has been a nightmare. I have one primary physician and 5 specialists. I've been on and off of SO many medications. It's really frustrating trying to get "the right" combinations of drugs to treat you. I live in Texas and marijuana is not legal her. It's a bummer because I truly think it could help my pain and insomnia better than opioids. It's got to at least be a healthier option! I'm sorry for your struggles and wish you well. I totally understand how you feel. Take care.

I have fibro, MS, degenerative disc disease, IBS, spinal stenosis and few others. I think most people with fibro find they have other conditions. Alot seems to have to do with our auto immune systems going haywire. Narcotics, anti inflammatory meds, anti depressants, and in my case, MS meds.
