So both my legs decided to cramp up at 6 this morning. Unfortunately it wasn't just calf cramps that can be stretched out and walked off. The smaller muscles running up the front sides of the shins freaked out too. So one set of muscles was stretched out by standing, which caused the other set to freak out more. And same goes for pointing, one set would be stretched out while the other set got worse.I'm still getting random cramps in both legs and have to be very careful with how I move.
I got home at midnight last night, have been unable to even lay down to rest since 6am this morning because every time I do my legs freak out. I have to be at work at 3pm and will be getting home around midnight again tonight.
I also have my normal muscle spasms in my shoulders, neck and face which are irritating my facial nerve and causing even more pain.
It's going to be a fun night (sarcasm). Hopefully I get through it without freaking out on someone for something minor.
Does anyone have any ideas for releasing these cramped/freaking muscles? Heat only kind of works and I can't use it long before I get sick from it. I can't do ice because I will not warm back up without a hot shower. I can't take anything stronger than robaxaset and work. Tens machine doesn't stop cramps, just makes it feel less when its on. Smelly stuff put on my shoulders and neck make me dizzy. I tried stretching my neck and shoulders but it just makes it worse. My massage is booked for Friday and I went to physical therapy on Monday.
