Hi Poopsie, welcome to pain app! Lots of great info & woderful caring peeps here. I am so sorry you are hurting so bad. Do you think you should try another doctor?
I have DDD, sciatica, severe scoliosis and chronic pain syn. As they all say in this group, you must be your own advocate. Believe in yourself. If that doc doesn't believe you, go to another.
I finally got this dx from neurosurgeons and they, of course, want to surge. Surgery. I am thinking about it. Next stop for me is rheumatologist.
You might ask for referral to PT or pain clinic. You have lots of options & we are all here for you🌹

Simple and short...get another doctor. Find one that listens to you and cares. It makes all the difference.

Go to A&E (ER) as those are red flag signs that there could be something underlying, if you go to the hospital you might get scanned that day, get someone to go with you, and maybe use one of their wheelchair things, so they don't dismiss you straight away as being ok. Your Doctor can't do anything anyway apart from refer you for scans. And they always say, if you have any red flag signs you should go to hospital!! 😊
