Mar 06, 2015 4:04 PM

As u all know that I was having problems with my right knee well just before Xmas my physiotherapist made a referral to Jarrow community hospital and I am still waiting for my appointment I don't know whether I should wait or chase it up

Amy I would contact them and find out what is going on. If that was before Christmas then that was over 3 months ago.

I would call and tell them that it's been three months time, you can't deal with the pain and you need an appointment ASAP. There is no reason you should have to wait so long. I hope it all works out for the better!!!

Amy5, call the physiotherapist to make sure they didn't drop the ball. Write note on who, what, when information was sent & to whom. Then call the hospital and talk to someone there. Note date, time & name etc. Good luck & God bless with a rush on this!

I was waiting for weeks on an endocrinologist referral and when I called their office they told me 1) you must have a thyroid diagnosis & 2) you must be on meds already or we won't see you. I'm neither so my psych doc is referring me to a different endocrinologist, since my PCP won't.
