My dad has been brought to the ER. My mom has always been one who has a tendency to not focus
She use yo work at the hospital we r at now.
Any way. ..every time something goes Down she is seemingly more concerned bout other people in area them my dad. Ugh. I have to always take over and tend to my DaD while my mom is being social.

Newfibrogirl2, I hope your dad will be treated and sent home soon. I pray it's nothing serious. Have you tried to speak with your mom? Is it possible that she socializes as a coping mechanism, since it's happening to a loved one? You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength & compassion to help your dad. (((Hugs))) 🙏🌼

Yes flappys...my mom has a very controling personality. If its not her way its no Way. My sis and I both have tried many timed to speak with her. All she wants is to have all the attention on her. She refuses to even research or hear what dr say bout my health. She is really hurting herself with her way of coping. I worry bout her all the time but more so I worry bout my dad and my health. I pray daily that I dont miss anything that could harm my dad. I really worry bout my family. Thank u for ur prayers

Just know you don't have to bear it alone. I'm here for you. And the Lord has your back! There are many in my family who would rather turn a blind eye than hear the truth, putting a lot of stress on a few of us. They just "can't deal with it." It's part of life. (((Hugs))) & prayers! 🙏🌼

Newfibrogirl, I understand how you feel. I pray that your Dad will be alright. Being social may be the only way your Mom knows how to cope with the fear she is feeling for your Dad. Don't be too hard on her. I'm sending positive vibes and well wishes that he gets the help he needs and gets better fast. You'll all be in my prayers.🌻🙏🏻
