My psychologist wants me to let go of perfection, take a break from the Lego sets with instructions like Slave I (Bobba Fetts ship in starwars). She wants me to try to be creative and make things without instructions. I have some pieces that are not from sets, but not that big of a variety of peices. And I have no base plate. So.... here is my piss poor attempt at creativity
Gotobef they're pretty good, I do love your bridge and the plane is really good, the house looks like what I make and I call it a studio bungalow!!! Your garden plan looks good and your flower thing looks better than I'd do!
Don't put yourself down, your more creative than you give yourself credit for and you need to build your confidence up so you can see how creative you actually are.
It's nice to have the sets to build with the instructions but it is also good to build from your imagination, my daughter likes the lego friends and has quite a few sets she builds them all with the instructions then with the less complicated sets she brakes them down and builds her own things but the more complicated sets like the lego friends popstar tour bus she leaves together. Sometimes she'll let me build bits but not very often.
Playdough is another good thing for getting creative altho I have a thing about it because I don't like mixing the colours!!!! Adult colouring books are good, my favourites are the Mandela books or patterned books because I can use whatever colours I like but I like to follow the pattern and if I start with one set of gel pens, fine liner felt pens or pencils, I normally have to finish with that particular set. It's not very often that I'd mix a set up.
You should be very happy with you creative side and the best thing with lego is you can take it apart and build something new....the possibilities are endless.....
