To my surprise this is the view that greeted me this morning. I had been awake most of the night with painsomnia where I normally go downstairs and do bits (not much but still I'm up!), last night I was on my phone replying and commenting on posts here (sorry for the long winded rants if it was yours!!!) So at about half six this morning I noticed that it was getting brighter and looked out my back window And saw this sight.... It took me completely by surprise At how beautiful it is and how the trees along the back of mine and my neighbours gardens seem to hide the fact I live in a built up area.
What's your thing that's taken you by surprise? Is it a view or a place or thing? I'd love to know what it is or even see a picture of it.
I've been up most the night coughing and blowing my nose, as I can't breathe but through my mouth and it's constantly getting dry. But my surprise thing is this, o looked out the window and was greeted by a squirrel, he/ she has paid me a visit every day.
Thank You sezzy, it's such a pain when I get this. Thing's that I promised to do with the kids had to be cancelled and I will be wearing a mask again when I go out to keep from getting worse. This month has been so stressful, you have no idea!
I know how it is, most months are difficult but January is especially so just after Christmas then add illness on top of that just makes everything more stressful. I really do hope you start to feel better and that your stresses become less and more manageable xx
Sjogrenspain77, what a cute little squirrel:. There's a mourning dove that come every day and sits outside my window and makes cooing sounds... it's pretty cool: I'll have to try to get a picture. Sezzy, that was a lovely sunrise!!! I'm usually awake most nights. I got a 5 hour sleep a few days back, only because my bff soothed me and I lay down and drifted off. I have only gotten between 1.5-2 hours and last night I got 58 minutes and even that was restless ffs!!! Anyway, I guess my surprise is that since Christmas I've lost 44.5 pounds.. 😳😜
Although it was a year ago, this daffodil surprisingly bloomed in our yard last February. It's usually March or early April before they bloom. But I noticed there ready to bloom again this year, and it's not even February! We've had warmer winters the last 5 years than we use to. But oh I love when the flowers start blooming...
A song from primary school years...🎶🎶 Yellow, yellow daffodil dancing in the sun Yellow, yellow daffodil you tell me Spring has sprung I can hear the bluebirds sing and hear the robins call Yellow, yellow daffodil I love you most of all!🎶🎶 🙂💕🙏🌸
Alwayz is that 44.5 in the last month? That's worrying to lose weight that quickly, have you been to the doctors about it? Sorry to put a downer on your weight loss but that's a lot of weight to lose in such a short space of time and I'm worrying about you. Please see your doctor about it, it could be something serious and if it's not then I'd be over the moon for you if you meant to lose it.
Sending you positive vibes and warm healing hugs xx
Flappys it is a beautiful flower. I love it when they're in bloom, they are a beautiful happy colour and bring warmer weather with them. I love the song and the words are soo true as well. Happytoseethesunrise it is the simpler things in life that we remember more and we also seem to get more joy from them as well (well I do!). When it snowed here a couple of weeks ago I stood outside for as long as I could just so I could listen to the quiet and absorb the peacefulness of it, it was beautiful and very calming.
I hope you all have a good week with as little pain as possible xx
