I can totally sympathise with this. How old is your granddaughter my oldest one has just turned seven. As hard as it is just try and put the pain to one side and enjoy the party. Hopefully you will have a really nice time and you might be in more pain by the time you get back but the one thing that always keeps me going is the fact that I can say I made the effort. Trust me your granddaughter will thank you for it just as mine does.
Yep I know that only too well. But because both of the girls have grown up with me in this condition they adjust accordingly. For instance I had them overnight last night and the 7 year old is a nannies girl came in bed with me this morning. She said I worry about you nanny. Bless her. If you teach them about how you are which is what I've done then it's all good. Admittedly I could look after them okay when they were babies as my condition was nowhere near as bad as it is now. Hope you had a nice birthday with her anyway
Thank you all. We had a great bday! Of course I was hurting and exhausted but it was worth it. You're right Lat. she knows 'Meema' has a bad back and arm and when I tell her I can't do something she understands. Soooo sweet those little ones! Serenity sleeping is an issue isn't it? Finding I can't lay too well on my left side with the dumb arm and shoulder.
I understand frustrated! I have a frozen shoulder on my left side and I have tons of pain on that side that is keeping me awake sometimes or waking me up! Grandkids are wonderful! I have five grandsons myself! What a blessing they all are! 💕💕
