Need advice/surgery on kidney stone

Sep 23, 2016 3:39 PM

Ok so the urologist is going to do a minor surgery where he is going to break up the kidney and put a stent in and then I can pass it. Has anybody have this procedure down? If so any advice because even though he breaks it up into little pieces I still going to have to pass those. So any advice is well needed especially because I don't want to put my body into Sjorgren's flare or a fibromyalgia flare.

Painedlady I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I know a few people who had this done. It's usually done with a special laser that blasts the stone into tiny pieces and sometimes if they get a good enough shot at it, can turn it almost to sand. It's not going to be comfy to pass no matter what but nothing as bad as passing a whole stone. I hope it goes smoothly and you have a speedy recovery. You certainly can't leave a kidney stone of that size in there because it will cause blockages and infections and constant pain. Sending you positive vibes, gentle {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that it all goes well. 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

I don't have any advice because I don't know anyone who's gone through this. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers that everything goes as easy and pain free as possible, with love and hugs! 🙂💕🙏🌸
