Negative inflammatory markers

Nov 18, 2016 1:43 PM

I have all symptoms of inflammation in my joints. I've been tested for rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune disorders. My CRP and sed rate have both come out normal. Crp less than .08 and sed rate is 2. I know I have inflammation going on in multiple areas in my body. Any ideas why inflammation is not showing in a blood test? I do have arthritis in my jeck, but that's all that I've been able to find out.
Extremely frustrated with my doctor who only wants to put me on antidepressants which hasn't been helping with my pain at all.

Oh, and my pain level picture is all yellow because I'm between flares right now, but it's starting back up again. I made this account a few days ago.

The only tests positive for me were my ANA, protein in my urine, and osteo showed up in x-rays in my hips and lower back. All inflammatory markers are negative but I have lupus and lupus arthritis everywhere. The blood tests are not definitive. The disease is progressive so it can show up at any. Docs even my ANA was a false positive. It was not false. Keep looking for answers. Don't give up. It took me 2.5 years of active pursing to get a diagnosis. I had 2 Rheumies, an ENT my GP and a pain clinic all tell me nothing autoimmune was going on. It was when my fingers turned blue with Raynaud's in front of my GP that he finally believed me and sent me to an Internist who diagnosed me within 5 min. If the visit. I had many markers. You only need 4 of11 markers to be diagnosed with lupus. I had about 7 of them.

My tests is also negative.. And because my test always being negative specialists don't believe in me.. I know it is something going on, but how to show it in a objective way?

Some of my friends thinks that I might have lupus, but rheumatologist says no because negative tests(I was in his office under 20 min the only appointment I got with him)..

Since tests don't show anything my doc sent me to a psychiatric hospital. The hospital said they can't help me because I have to much struggle with my physical health... *facepalm*

My body don't show anything on tests. Don't even a inflamed gallbladder(it was leaking).
Have you earlier experienced positive blod tests on anything?

My ANA was positive 3x
There was protein in my urine
And osteo in lower back and hips complicated by lupus
Doc could feel swelling in my joints but it's not visible to the eye. I have a lot of joint pain.
I have Epilepsy which can be lupus related
I lost my bladder at 28 (Now 45) to lupus related interstitial cystitis
I have Raynaud's
I'm sun/heat sensitive
I get mouth and nose ulcers.
I get dry mouth, eyes, nose (possible sjogrens)
Other bloodwork was normal like RA factor, ESR, ..
You can have sero negative RA which means you could have it but bloodwork doesn't show it.

Fibro shows up on tests that go inside the cell--Will often show low magnesium, iron deficiency anemia. Cerebral spinal fluid will show substance "P" indicating abnormal in nerve function-- with us is over firing constantly as we are always in "fight or flight" mode. More from Dr Liptan's Fibro Manual.
