NERVOUS about test results

Aug 23, 2017 7:37 PM

So as you guys know I have been seeing all the specialists I need to see. Well Monday appt was with the Gynecologist and he drew some blood to test my hormone level. And the the first Friday of September he is going to do a procedure called hysteroscopy. I also gotta get an ultrasound. And this doctor I know I am in very good hands because he delivered my niece, he did my mom's hysterectomy and one of my best friends been his patient for over a decade. He even does her pain management too. Anyway I got a call saying that the doctor wants to see me for a consult about my blood work. I said I already have an appt next week with him do I need to come sooner is it that bad. The nurse said no your not going to die or anything. So she said that's fine they will add that to my appt and our conversation ended. She calls back and says oh Dr. Hall called in some iron for you because you are anemic. I said ok but is that what he needed to talk to me about. She said no that's not it, I said ok I'm just going to wait till next week to see what it is. And we ended our conversation again.
Now I'm worried about my bloodwork cause all he was doing was checking for my hormone levels. And what did he find that my primary doctor didn't catch. Ugh 😩😩😩😩

Good doctors like to talk in person whenever possible. It’s just easier to explain things and answer questions. If it was a life or death thing, you would’ve been told to come in same or next day. It’s natural to be nervous but remember to breathe. Try not to let your worry take your joy from the present moment. Keep us updated.

I'm also glad you like and trust your doctor. Thats huge! The unknown is always the scariest. Try to stay in the moment. Breath and relax. It might just be a medication thing but it could be easier for him to explain in person. Prayers coming your way. πŸ™
