Hi everyone. I have EDS type 3/JHS and have suffered with pain for years. Nice to find people who actually understand what I'm going through.

Hi and welcome 😊 I joined yesterday but have already come across some lovely people. It's good that we can have a place to share our problems and pain but also the good things too.

Really looking forward to talking to people who understand for a change. Might be able to help others on here through my experiences & also be helped through other people's ideas.

That's exactly the way I think too, being able to discuss our frustrations and worries bit also being able to give back where we can xx

It's hard for me knowing that I can't do many of the things I enjoy or just the daily activities. It is nice to think that I may be able to help someone here from my experiences as they have helped me. Having something I know a lot about and can easily do feels great

Welcome to you all! The great partof this community is we do not judge or shame others for our differences, not criticize. I hope you all find as much good advice and support as I have. And sharing experiences is how we learn new ways to tackle our pain. One of the best I received was someone sharing the "spoon theory" at www.butyoudontlooksick.com, and www.fmnetnews.com. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers! 🙏🌼

The first thing I got from being here is the spoon theory. I have already been talking about it to a few people who are going through similar issues.
