Overwhelmed! Help! Am on Ultram. But does not relieve pain. I never my wildest thoughts ever knew Arthritis of the spine could be this painful. Quality of life is limited because I can't walk stand or sleep much due to the constant pain. Also suffer from Psoriasis and it becomes more inflamed or vice versa with arthritis symptoms. Am incontinent and have no labido for last 5 years. Have psoriasis of groin anyone ever get that. Not knowing where to turn. Female 62yo.

Am.so sorry painwarrior. I have a dear online friend who lives with Ankylosing Spondylitis and I know she struggles with it. ((( gentle hugs ))) Welcome to the forum. Just sorry you had a reason to search us out.

I know others will be along as well to welcome you.

Do you go to a painclinic for your medications and treatment. I have found that this has been a blessing to me. Have you talked to your doctor that's prescribing the Ultram to let him know it's not working?

I wish I had a magic wand to make it all go away... It does help to talk with others who are living with pain.

How can we help you hun? Let us know if there's anything we can help you with or any questions we can try to answer.

I am fairly new here myself so not sure if anyone else has some of the same diagnosis you do. I have the Fibromyalgia, osteo arthritis, Chronic Fatigue and a basket full of other issues. For me I have to take things one day at a time. Of I have a large project to do and just looking at it overwhelms me I break it down to small increments.

Take care..
Melanie

Painwarrior, arthritis of the spine is debilitating. I'm 54 and have had it since age 28-29. Unfortunately there's nothing to be done for OA and DDD. I try to stay as mobile and flexible as possible, using stretches, walking, light weights, warm showers, hear packs. Massages with voltaren gel is helpful too. I hope you can find things to help you cope easier with this. Hugs love & prayers! 🙂💕🙏🌸
