New doctor

I have been taking hydrocodone 325/5 (2 per day) for back and knee pain. My doctor retired and the new doctor doesn’t want to refill the hcd. I am 70 years old and rely on it for daily pain relief since an a hit and run accident 2 years ago. Any suggestions?

Is there a pain management clinic in your local area? If so, it may help to go there. Pain Management clinics can provide you with prescriptions for pain relief or referrals to doctors who will prescribe it, and they'll give you other pain management options to use with the medication.

Pain management definitely. The government has regular doctors afraid to do their job these days.
