New here.

So thankful I found this app. I've been entering my pain daily, laying low reading the forums. It looks like there are a whole lot of you in a lot worse pain than what I am, but I am here anyway. I suffer chronic back pain, have had two surgeries, fusions, rods and pins and screws because of torn disks, and I feel worse today than I did before the suegeries. I see a pain specialist. He gives me injections of lidocaine and steroids and I feel better for a few weeks. But, the last injection didn't help at all. We've tried SI Joint injections, and blocks, and physical therapy, and water therapy. I'm on Meloxicam, Lyrica, Robaxin, oxycontin, Lunesta and seroquel for sleep, mini press and Effexor and clonazepam. Dx of GAD, depression, panic disorder, PTSD, chronic pain, pinched nerve at L4-L5. Stenosis, degeneration, arthritis, blah. Too much. Some days I can't get out of bed without help. Some days I need help getting dressed. I'm sure that's nothing new to many of you.

I appreciate the comments and support shown in this group.

Welcome ButtonsGrammy! We all have different diagnoses, some many and some few. You seem to have quite a number yourself. But chronic pain is the same among us all. I've fought chronic pain issues since the mid 80's. Having disc issues all down my spine, & cervical fusions with titanium plate & screws, I too have done epidural steroid injx. I went through 2 years doing 2 series of 3 injx at each site. All of it brought relief except the very painful facet injx. Not sure if I'll do those again! Lol 😨

I understand needing the help because this year I've become more dependent on my hubby. I worked until a surgery in 2010 (5 in 1), and since then I've had one dx after another as my health has deteriorated. But thank goodness it's nothing life threatening. I do use a cane, walker or motorized cart as needed. And I have received wonderful support, advice, & suggestions in the community. I trust you will find the same. As Weezie said, there's usually always someone online. Hope you have a blessed day! You're in my prayers. πŸ™πŸŒΌ
