Hi and welcome to the family. No need to be scared we don't bite. This is a great group of people with non-judgemental attitudes. We all are dealing with chronic issues and know how bad it feels already and nothing is helped by beating up on anyone when they are already down. There are tons of great tips and tricks for getting through life. We talk about EVERYTHING no questions are off limits. Spend sometime looking at previous posts and jump in if you can add to something. We have people from everywhere and with all kinds of backgrounds. There really is a great amount of info here. Welcome! Tell us about yourself when you are ready of course. :) Where are you from what do you do what are you dealing with ect.

Hi, and welcome.
As LBM said, there is no reason to feel scared. There are all sorts of people here different ages , gender and illnesses. It took me awhile to post anything. I spent time reading others posts first. I still don't post to much myself. I grew up believing that a person should not tell to much of oneself. Regardless. Of my reasons, I like to read about other peoples symptoms( just to know that I'm not alone) so by all means take your time and once again welcome :)

Hello Liesl, and welcome to our family community. No need to be frightened. We are a zany and wonderful group of folks who all have different diseases and diagnosis and we all suffer from chronic irretractable pain. I've been in pain for 22 years and have been formally diagnosed with Fibro, DDD, DJD, hypothyroidism, Graves Disease, long thoracic nerve palsy, cervical spondalytic myelopathy among another dozen things. I can tell you that you will never be alone and you will never be judged for how you or feeling it what you are feeling. There are only good, kind, compassionate, and loving people here. I hope that you are able to set in and learn from and with us. We do "get it" and that is one thing that made me really love to come here. Hang in there; sending you gentle and reassuring {{{Hugs}}} and prayers. 🌻🙏🏻

Hi Liesl! I'm new also but already these kind folks have made a massive difference in my days and nights. I was afraid to post also, but when I found courage to do so, the acceptance was tangible. You will find the same here, I'm confident.😉

Hi Liesl! I'm so glad you found us. We are all in the same boat so to speak with chronic pain or illness. We get it. This is a safe place for you to vent, cry, ask questions, or just ask why me. We've all done it at some point, so when you feel ready, we will be here. It doesn't matter what time it is, someone will be here. Welcome to your new family, and I am glad to have another friend.
