Hi I am so glad to find this community. I have lived with leg pain for many years on and off but now the pain never stops. I decided to see a neurosurgeon. He mumbled about my pain and sent me to a rheumatologist saying it was rheumatoid arthritis. Drove 500km to see him and was told I had some symptoms of Parkinson disease and to go to a neurologist. But first I had to have an MRI done. I had to wait several months for an appointment to see each of the specialists. It has left me to live on strong pain killers (OxyContin) while I wait to find out if someone has any answers. So I feel thankful that I have found this group because we have similar issues with our pain. Thank you for letting me vent.
Hi Liz welcome to the community. We are one big family. We come from all over the world. Feel free to ask any question or vent. We all have chronic pain for different reasons. Does heat help you! Have you tried to soak in hot water with 1-2 cups Epsom salt? Some people take supplements like magnesium, vitamin B complex, vitamin D and CoQ10. I have Fibromyalgia, DDD, Spondylosis of L5-S1 among other things. I live in Central Ohio USA. I look forward to seeing you around.
