I am new here but have taken to heart that we are not alone by any means. I have three health issues that bring me pain. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, and severe spinal stenosis. I am 59, married 37 yrs, mother of two and Grammy to 3. I have supportive family and our motto is "one day at a time". Thank you for letting me join you here.🏃
Welcome Alaskagrammy! I hope you find this community as helpful as I have. We help each other with suggestions, support, and just listening. As diverse as we are, from all over the world, we share in common our chronic pain. We vent, question, laugh & cry together.
I'm 53, married 33+ years, and am Granny to 6. I have fibromyalgia, sjogrens, hypothyroidism, dementia, osteoarthritis, DDD of spine and facet stenosis, just to name a few. I'm suffering with undiagnosed tremors, weakness, imbalance, and brain changes; awaiting appt at Mayo. I have multiple other meds conditions that intermingle and compound my ability to function daily as a healthy person. But I try to stay positive, using music TV, reading, playing with my dog, resting, relaxation, heat of ice packs, mild stretching, and my faith & trust in God to see me through, as you say, "one day at a time." Most recently my daughter loaned me a treadmill so I'm walking 10-12 minutes at 1-2 mph, because my body is so unconditioned.
Again, welcome to our community. I'll keep you in my prayers! 🙏🌼
