Hi. Just need to vent. My pain is so excruciating I just cry. Nothing seems to relieve it. I have to get through work with it, holding back sweat, shaking and tears. I don't even want to ask the doctor about it again because she just referred me to PT before and they basically said there wasn't much they could do to help me. I she'll just treat me as a drug seeker if I bring it up again. I don't know what else to do but suffer through it. Sometimes I just want it to stop. It feels like someone is stabbing me in the side of my neck with a hot knife and twisting it. And then doing it over and over again. If I would have known 17 years ago that the car accident I was in would do this to me, I would have demanded so much more money.
Hi welcome to the group💕 I'm sorry your in so much pain that must be awful ecpecially as you have to work through it. Is there anyway you could change doctors and see a specialist in neuropathic pain? I know how you feel I'm in so much pain at the moment too and my doctors treat me like a drug seeker. If you ever want to vent or chat personal message me 💕😘
Hi. Welcome to our wonderful group. ☺ I'm sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and your doctor is not supported . Seems like anymore the doctors either want to use you as a test lab or pass you over to someone else. P.T. doesn't work all the time . . We are all here if you need to talk . We all support eachother the best we can . Sending prayers your way. ☺☺☺☺
Hi, sorry you are suffering, I woke up one morning 3 years ago with Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia. It makes the left side of my face ache and hurt terribly. Nerve pain is the worst! If I had a dollar for every doc who accused me of drug seeking I could easily pay my doctor bills. It's so tough but after 10 months, and moving a cross my state, I finally found a doc who actually seems interested in working with me to find livable medications. Hang in there!
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through so much pain and not being able to get any relief. I know exactly what you are going through. I totally understand going to the doctor and they look at you like all you are there for is drugs. Yes, we do need medicines to help us get through the pain but that does not mean that we are all drug addicts. I too am going through something similar, doctors cannot find any reason for the pain that I am in and I have had doctors that do not believe anything that I tell them. It gets very frustrating and sometimes so hard to deal with. I hope that you are able to find resolution. I agree with the fact that maybe you need to change doctors.
so easy to say change doctors! That can get you into trouble too! I've been going to ER because I don't have a doctor...got on a "fast back" follow up care from our major university's hospital and maybe trying to get help...right so Mental Health gets me a doctor 80mls instead of the 4hr drive...now they are telling me I've been to too many doctors and they can't help...Pain Management doctor who started this whole crap (the only one in town) has refused to see me! Oh and watch how many pharmacies you go to too...that's a mark against you well me anyways!
