I am 15 years old. I have had two concussions, torn trapezius muscle, osgood schlatters, torn tendon and sprained ligaments in Both knees, nerve damage in my neck, I have bruised and possibly broke a few ribs over the years on my right side of my body, I also have over active ligaments ,and I have sprained my right ankle. This is all over the course of 3 years. I have done 2 3 month terms at PT with two different doctors. It helped a little but didn't fix anything. I am in chronic pain everyday, to the point I can't stand up. I got my first concussion chasing pigs down the road and I slipped and hit the back of my head off of the pavement about 2 years ago. About 10 months ago I got a ball to the head a cleat in the mouth and a knee to my head, I still have a concussion to this day, I got whiplash from the force of everything hitting me and I hit my head off of a window the same day. I was diagnosed with osgood schlatters, I kept walking in on my leg to the point of stress fractures happend on the top of my fibula, I was placed on crutches. I had a cow attack me and ram me into medal gates and bruised and possibly broke ribs about 4 years ago. Much more had happend but i still feel the pain everyday

Farmersdaughter.. OMG!! That's quite a lot for a 15 year old to deal with. Working on a farm is hard and many times dangerous work. I had horses and suffered several injuries being kicked by other people's horses or stepped on by my own.. LOL!! I'm sorry that you have such pain. Has your doctor recommended a pain clinic or any kind of medication or more therapy to help with your pain? I hope that you find the support and info you need by hanging out with Us. Welcome aboard.. Sending gentle {{{Hugs}}} and prayers for a better day. πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸ˜Š

I am so sorry someone your age is having to live through it. Hopefully there is a Dr out there some where that can help you to be able to cope with the pain. I know from experience that when they find the right combination of meds to help with the pain that you are living with. It never Turley goes away it makes it to where you are able to function, in your life. Are you able to go to school at all, or are you home schooled. It's very important to finish your education so that you are able to get your dream job, where you can get insurance that will take care of all your meds. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Welcome to our community family farmersdaughter! I'm so sorry to hear of all the accidents and the pain they have caused. It is so easy to get injured on a farm.

My dad has owned a farm since the 70's, and we always had to help out with the crops and animals. Cows are very unpredictable and easy to harm you. I remember helping round then up to move them to a different pasture every few months. It never failed that a mamma cow and calf would run straight at us kids, and we'd get in trouble for not holding out place and scaring them where they needed to go. They easily won the game of chicken with me and my baby sister every time! πŸ˜‰ My dad and brother both had broken bones from horses.

My daughter was diagnosed with Osgood schlatters at 13, but her doc used the term apophysitis. She used hearing pads and I've packs at the end of the day to help reduce pain. But she's 28 now and still has knee problems, just not as severe as when she was a teen. Look into buying a patella support strap or brace, usually at any local pharmacy or retail like Walmart. It will provide more support & protection for the knees. I hope you can find ways to help you ease the pain and heal from your injuries quickly. Please take it easy around the animals, especially until you're off the crutches and feeling better. Hugs love & prayers that's soon! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ

Thank you all for the help, hugs, and prayers❀️ I should have been more clear, I've had osgood schlatters since I was 10, I am now 15 and the pain is worse somedays then when I was originally diagnosed! But 4 years ago I was on crutches, not anymore. I am in a knee brace and ace wraps when ever needed! Thank you all for everything πŸ’žπŸ™ƒ

farmersdaughter0777, nice to text you! Welcome. Being a walking wounded farm girl, I wondered if you have used DMSO for pain and stiffness in joints? When I spent time at my aunt's farm they used it on the horses.

Thanks for clarifying farmersdaughter. I have chondromalacia of the patella and a bone spur so I've recently been put in a support brace when walking and on my feet. Hopefully we can both lose our braces soon. Hugs love & prayers you start healing and have no more injuries! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ
