New Pain in My Foot...Any Ideas?!?

Jan 02, 2016 12:00 PM

I'm having a new issue when I walk, where on my left (good) side I get this foot spasm when I walk about two blocks carrying something. It feels like a muscle spasm in the sole of my foot, and is weirdly tingly.

I also walk really weird and can't always feel the ground beneath my feet. I'm planning on seeing my neuro really soon, just wondering if you this have any ideas in the mean time.

Thanks!

Ferretbandit, do you walk around barefoot a lot in the house? It sounds like it could be plantar fasciitis and that involves tendon/ligament pain. I can't think of anything else but I hope you get answers. Sending gentle {{{Hugs}}} and positive vibes that you get the answers you need and feel better fast. 💕🙏🏻🌻

I've been dealing with those sensation for almost a year. It's gotten somewhat better when in lyrica but I still have the pains and numbness almost everyday. I've not gotten a ne for it yet other then neuropathy.

I was going to suggest plantar fascitis as well. I have it and your symptoms sound exactly like mine. You can rub ointments in and sometimes it helps. Wearing shoes helps so long as I don't wear heels; I'm a sneakers & flats girl! Lol. I started with it about 7 years ago, and unfortunately it flares up now and again. All I can do is rest it and/or get a steroid ijnx to calm the inflammation... Not a good site for those shots! Very painful indeed!! Lol. I hope you try ointments, ice, &/or heat, & rest and it helps. 😷🙏🌼
