It's very challenging to help when we don't have any details about you except that you have had fibro and neurotin doesn't work effectively for you. How long have you been in pain? What other needs have you tried? What exercises? What mindfulness techniques? Do you suffer from anything else? How will are you able to keep yourself honest and accountable with what you've 'tried'? Are you taking any other meds? How long have you been in the gabba? Etc...
I bet plenty of folks here could help better if we knew more about you, your pain type, and what you've been through so far in terms of treatment and relief. Has anything so far worked?
Also, get into researching things if you haven't already. Lots of docs are too busy, overwhelmed or lazy, to stay current on chronic pain management, especially with fibro. To star with, you might try looking up ways to naturally increase oxytocin and hcg hormones in the body. Herbs, exercise, diet, mindfulness, etc...
Those two hormones have been found to massively help win regulating fibro pains.
You could also talk to your doc or a good naturopath about hcg, oxytocin, andor b12 shots, either instead of or in combination with natural ways.
It's at least worth researching if you're authenticly hurting and need help, cause between the dea morality regs, political insurance tax failures, and emerging research; chronic pain drugs will rarely ever be given to any noncancer patients in any truly effective regular doses anymore, even when the pain can be measured. Pain meds aren't a reliable source of relief anymore, and won't be so long as personal accountability and freedom of choice are chucked out the window in favor of ruling by fear and "good intentions" in most countries legislative systems. Research, self care, and nontoxic self experimentation is cheaper, faster, and more effective than a fight with doctors and politicians π
Welcome to the community, lol π€
