Learn from patients with pain similar to yours

CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

New update introducing "similar patients"

May 31, 2016 5:47 AM

Dear CatchMyPain and PainCompanion Community,

I would like to let you know that we have just released a major update of the PainCompanion app. The update introduces two lists which show community members who are similar to you:
- The first list shows patients who have a pain drawing similar to yours.
- The second list shows patients who share the same diagnoses like you.

We hope this will help you to connect with patients who have the same underlying cause. And we hope this will allow you to learn from each other and to support each other even better.

Unfortunately, this new feature is only available in the PainCompanion app and not the CatchMyPain app. And PainCompanion is only available on Android phones. But we are going to release the iPhone version in a few weeks.

We are very eager to hear how you like those new features.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Many thanks for your feedback!

@JAHMAC We don't have the edit comment feature yet but it is on our todo list. But I am not sure yet how soon we can start working on it.

@vizallygirl: There is no iOS version available yet. I assume you meant the CatchMyPain app which is available on iOS already. The Pain Companion iOS app however isn't out yet.

We should be able to release the iOS version before the end of June.

I am looking forward to more feedback regarding the "similar patients" list. You can be brutally honest and you don't have to fear to hurt our feelings. We want to improve the app and that is only possible if we get honest feedback. If you prefer, you can send me a private message instead of posting here.

Kind regards and many thanks,
Daniel

Thanks for the info! iOS update of CMP App is what I meant, just in case people thought it was the other app.
