Anyway I have a question for you! Recently I have been having intense generalized weakness, pain, tingling all over my body, lightheadedness, dizziness, and major tremors. I am going to see my pcp soon and at first I thought it was by my CFS but this has never occurred before and it's kind of terrifying especially when driving. Does anyone else have these symptoms? Do you know what it could be? How do you handle it?
I have all those things. They are all symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Ms is officially ruled out for me. Now we are running a bunch of blood work looking for a cause for me. Your doctor will probably want to rule out ms, thyroid disorder, vitamin b12 deficiency, etc. will probably refer you to a neurologist and order an EMG/NCV and possibly a brain MRI.
Kashiiguren, I've been having the tingling sensation from my left side of my face, over my scalp to my neck shoulder(s), & upper left back, for the past 48 hours. Its even in my eye socket & its driving me nuts! For over 3 weeks I've had tremors (right hand especially), & sometimes a jittery (inside) feeling. I have no idea why but I see my neurologist next Monday. He's planning to do a spinal tap so we're scheduling that then.
Tingling is a symptom of fibromyalgia but its usually the hands & feet, so I don't think mine is from my fibro.
Flappy! It sounds like your doctor is checking for Multiple Sclerosis. I went to my doctor today and with everything, my vision changes and ect she said she is going to test for MS as well. She said it would explain my CFS, tummy issues, heart issues, nerve issues, ect because it pretty much effects everything. Since my body has a lovely inflammatory response to everything it concerns her. Good luck with you ST! Much luck getting everything figured out~ 💖
Combination of fibro, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, chronic pain due to trauma, and anxiety cause me similar issues. I went to the drs couple years ago thinking I had ms or fibro and the dr was upset that I was suggesting diagnoses. About a year after that've was in crippling pain. Confused and could walk witching feeling I was having a heart attack and had to miss a lot of work. My PCI referee me to a rheumatologist who has really worked to help. Not 100% better but working on it hr by hr. Best of luck in your testing process. It's long brutle stressful and exhausting. My advice is get a good support system and focus on your outlets. Start and easy project that helps distract you from that constant dr appts and worries.
Thank you~ luckily I have my partner, Netflix and crafting that helps. I didn't suggest anything, she pretty much did. At first she didn't say what she thought it may be so it made me nervous and curious. Hahhaa. But it's just good knowing that she is testing for things when my old PCP would blame it on other issues and ignore my complaint
I used to love to crocheting and cross stich but I have been having problems with my fingers,I bought a baby quit to cross stitch for my daughter who is due in May but have not been able to finish it. My hands and fingers start hurting and having trouble holding the needle and have to stop in about 15 min after getting started. I am also having trouble with my concentration and focusing on it. I just recently found out that the Syrinx is back inside my Spinal Cord it starts at CS 5 and goes down to TS 12 and then down to L1 where it ends. I was under the impression that after my anteriordiskectomy on 5-6-and 7 that it drained but my Dr. told me that it's been back since 2010. I was shocked that no had told me it had come back so long ago. He seems to think that this is causing all of my problems, not CIS. I have to go in April and have nerve test then I'm going to ask for a shunt to be put in.
Wow. Well good luck!!! 😓 I send love and strength your way!!! I understand though. I make bracelets and send them to Spoonies and sufferers for free~ but my tremors, pain and spasms make it hard to continuously bead strands. Then I can't focus and get confused and my vision goes double but trying to fight it is the most aggrivating and tiring thing. I wish I could help youuuu! That's crazy that they are just telling you now.
Thanks Kashiiguren, I think that he thought I already knew about the Syrinx being back. After I have my nerve test done I'm going to ask if he will refer me to the Dr that did my anteriordiskectomy in 2005,to put in a shunt and remove some more vertibrae in my cervical spine. After my surgery he told me that I had a couple more that needed to be replaced with cadaver vertibrae. I think the time has come.
