Hi everyone, I've been recently diagnosed with Fibro after having symptoms for 2 years. I feel Abit overwhelmed and have had an awful 10 days with pain and fatigue. I feel like I'm obsessed with searching for anything to do with fibro, was anyone else the same? ๐ŸŒท

I'm new to this site too. I know what you mean re searching websites. I've had ongoing sciatica symptoms mainly left leg. After several surgeries there has been no relief and now it is thought I have piriformis and myofascial syndrome (similar to fibro). It has a huge impact on ones quality of life. From my readings we need to understand about our condition and tackle it in many ways . I see Physio , massage therapist and psychologist regularly. You will find a way to manage your condition too. Keeping a diary is a good thing.

Thank you, my rheumatologist has recommended physic but I'm scared of the pain. I'm also struggling with talking to people about it, most people have never heard of it and it's not easy explaining what it is.

Welcome JoJo & Eleni! I've had fibro since 2007. When I joined someone shared several websites with me, so I'll share with you. I don't think it ever goes away. We just get better at recognizing the signals from our bodies, and finding new ways to cope with them. Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, one step at a time. Hugs love & prayers! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒธ

New here too ... Finally my Dr said fibromyalgia .. no surprise.. this following years of chronic back pain after emergency cauda equine surgery. Luckily I had a talented surgeon and he operated in time so I am mobile. Thanks for the fibro sites ... Anyone have success with medical marijuana? Crossing lots of meds I can't take off the list in trying to better manage.

Hi everyone, just wanted to say that I too have fibro. I also find my skin to be very itchy. I find taking an antihistamine helps to relieve the itchiness a bit

Jenny jellybean you said you get a rash in the sun. That's a symptom of lupus. Have you ever been tested for lupus. Do you get a lot of joint pain?
