No diagnosis?

Jul 12, 2018 8:28 AM

Hi! Downloaded this app yesterday.
Just want to know how many of you are hunting specialists and doctors to recieve a diagnos. I see so many writing about Fibro and I dunno if I have that, but I am pretty certain that I have ME. I don't have much hope tho, I've been dealing with this pain since I was a child and doctors doesn't seem to know what it is.
I live in Sweden btw.
Anyone else without a name for your pain?

There are others here that don't have diagnoses. There's others from Sweden also.

I've been living with joint pain for 9 years. No doctors, including rheumatologists, can give me an answer as to why so many of my joints hurt.

Oh I see. It feels horrible how many it is that suffers from this and doesn't even have a diagnosis, like not only are we constantly judged and have to prove ourselves, but we can't be included in the stats that shows how many we actually are.
I also have terrible pain in my joints, I feel sorry that you have to go through it as well AmbrielleLyn.

I don’t have a diagnosis yet. I personally am pretty sure it’s fibro. But I’m 19 and this pain is just ridiculous. The fatigue is unbelievable. Sorry no one has helped you :(

I have seen so many doctors and they all have no idea

I have spent over a year searching for answers. I know many on here have had much longer and my heart goes out to anyone fighting for their health. It's not pleasant and it's hard to keep being an advocate for yourself when people keep saying everything tests fine.

I went from being a very active woman, working crazy hours to, one day, being unable to stand from my intense pain. I went downhill very fast. I haven't been able to work or run any errands.

I have seen many specialists, been to the E.R. twice and paid a lot of money out of pocket trying to get tests run.

I struggle staying positive but I make an effort everyday to spin this experience in a good way. God has a plan. Although, I had a different idea for my year, it has given me peace to know this experience will work out to something great in the long run.

Stay strong and try to stay positive. A positive mind can go a long way.

Sorry to hear that :'( I hope you all get help as soon as possible.

Please try to not mention any religious things though. Not everyone share the same beliefs, the same God. It seems that your religion has helped you with your struggles and if that's the case then I'm truly happy for you. But that isn't always the case for many others and it can be a very sensitive topic that might stir up from a good intention to a war between different beliefs and experiences.
