has anyone decided NOT to have spinal esi procedure done? What were your other options? What were the results? How do you feel about your decision?

Might sound silly but what is esi? I know I was meant to have spinal injections last year which would have been hydrocortisone injections is that the same? I've had mixed reviews on it.
Have you tried hypnotherapy or meditation to help with the pain? Xx

Epidural steroid injection and if I'm not mistaken they are the same. Mediation and hypnotherapy, no I haven't.

Vintage, I am one on the other side of the fence on this issue. I just recently(July) had facet injections. They have been a godsend but I believe they might be starting to wear off now. The only procedure I will NOt do again is the si injections. No, no and hell no on that one. It sent me into a worse flare up then I had before the procedure. Have tried guided meditation and hypnotherapy using of all things, YouTube and had some success with it. Pain management tomorrow so we shall see what the next step is.
